When the client is an obstacle to creativity!

Written by: 04 November 2011

Have you noticed how clients always want their projects done for yesterday? They want more and more work done in less and less time

But what makes a product or a work exceptional? What stays in our  mind? The lowest cost solution?

No. The beautiful machines of industrial design (iPhone) or the memorable advertising campaigns ("Just do It" Nike, "Think Small" Volkswagen) distinguish themselves by their creativity. Apple's whole empire was built on high quality industrial designs.

This clip illustrates the importance of giving enough time to a creative project. The Mona Lisa was created over the course of years, would it be as iconic if Leonardo da Vinci had done it in a week?

Creativity is not inspired by the pressure of time, but by the freedom, the playfulness and the fun!
